Long standing volunteer leaves

On Tuesday, 20th September 2016, the committee held a coffee morning at our Chairman’s house to say goodbye to Jane Holmes. Jane has been a volunteer for WTN for over 30 years, and has been involved in every aspect of our activities, including Chair, reading and editing. She was also Editor-in-Chief of our magazines for some years, and was responsible for producing many superb editions.

Garden Party July 2013

From time to time we arrange social events to allow our volunteers and listeners to meet each other. In July 2013 we were honoured to play host to Lord Hurd of Westwell (former government Minister and Witney MP) as our guest speaker who fitted us in around a busy schedule of the launch of his latest book on Disraeli which he signed for many people at the event.
